Many major oil companies, fuel transporters, refineries and large consumers have concluded long-term contracts with LAS. In this way, LAS partners with these customers in ensuring maximum productivity of assets whilst also providing a bureau service offering that gives them valuable management information.
2) Calibration Services
LAS is the leading bulk petroleum meter calibration laboratory in South Africa. LAS’s accreditation assures users that our custody transfer measuring equipment complies with legal metrology design and accuracy standards. LAS Compact Piston Prover represents the latest in meter proving techniques. This mobile unit is the first of its type approved by legal metrology department of the National Regulator for compulsory specifications (NRCS) a reference standard.
3) Project Management
LAS delivers quality projects within scope and on time. A project Procedures Manual enables projects to be executed at a consistently high standard by teams of highly qualified, experienced engineers and project managers.
Successful turnkey projects have been completed throughout Africa. These include loading gantry design and construction, terminal automation; fuel dispensing systems for governments, local authorities and mines; vapour recovery; truck automation; additive systems and tank gauging.
